As a project manager, you have full ownership of executing the project schedule at international level. Your responsibility lies in the entire project planning and the process from A to Z. You have knowledge and affinity with the technology and automotive industry, you are process-wise strong and you are the person between the stakeholders at different levels. You're looking at the budgets, timeline and schedules. Together with your team you take care of delivering a beautiful product according to the customer's wishes. Our client is a global player specialized in battery management solutions. Headquartered in the U.S. Within the automotive industry, she is the market leader in this field.

In addition to supplying a number of standard products and private labels, their added value lies mainly in developing solutions for better reliability and cost savings, together with manufacturers, importers, dealers and after-market partners. The hardware is mainly developed and produced at its headquarters in the US. The software development for the EMEA region can take place in all offices (US, China, NL or outsourced).

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor engineering projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Monitor budgets and adjusting where necessary
  • Monitor timing and deadlines
  • Report project progress
• Facilitate collaboration between departments to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
• Ensure engineering projects are completed on schedule and within budget. 
• Perform all project mangement related tasks for the Global Platform development team.
• Test technical possibilities
• Supervise technical development
• Support and advice the customer regarding the possibilities, scope and planning ofprojects.

Wat are we looking?

• Minimum HBO+/ HTS training
• 3 - 5 experience in engineering project management
• Knowledge and experience in technology at international level
• Affinity with automotive industry is an advantage
• Fluent in Dutch and English in word and writing, German is an advantage
• Positive mindset and a team player

Skills

• Practical experience with electronics development in a production environment
• Experience in both hardware and software development
• Detailed knowledge of Agile design methodologies and all aspects of the product design process
• Interface with product managment, sales, operations and customers tot ensure our customers'needs are met.
• Experience in present and communicate the status of projects with executive management team
• Ability to identify/revise/implement process changes to achieve technical efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement
• Insight into the production and creation of marketing materials is a plus
