About the role:

As a Supervisor Operations you will effectively supervise the employees, the processes and the efficiency of the Operations Department. You will partner with your team to create solutions for supply chain challenges and enhance quality, cost, and delivery of medical devices for patients around the world.
You will lead, guide, coach and develop your team to meet the organizational goals, therefor you will foster a diverse workplace that enables all team members to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of these goals. Besides all of this you will be responsible for managing the budget of the department.

Your responsibilities include:

• All orders are picked, packed and shipped according to each customer's requirements for products, packaging and transportation;
• Incoming released goods put away of those goods, and replenishments occur with a high degree of accuracy and within planned lead times;
• All applicable procedures and work instructions are complete and accurate;
• All employees within Operations are trained according to the latest versions of the applicable procedures;
• Establish a team of motivated members, winning spirit;
• Responsible for the overall production capacity. Make sure sufficient manpower, tools and materials are available to handle all operational daily activities;
• Provide accurate measurements, reports and timely metrics to MT;
• Investigate customer complaints to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken;
• Customer centric mindset; anticipate on urgent customer requests;
• Coordinate information concerning time registration / management;
• Perform Performance Development Coaching / Evaluations with your direct reports;
• Act as the subject matter expert during internal and eventually external audits;
• The Supervisor Operations ensures that all operational activities are performed according to the approved procedures;
• Driving supporting improvement projects;
• Overall responsible for departmental time registration..

What we are looking for:

• Education level: HBO or relevant work experience
• Excellent Leadership/ team management skills
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
• Continuous improvement attitude
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills (English), Dutch is an advantage.
• Experience in project management
• Experience in warehouse / supply chain environment
• Affinity with technology
