Field Sales Engineer (Accountmanager), electronic components, Breda Main purpose of the job This role is responsible for increasing revenue and sales gross profit for a selected customer base. Develops strong customer relationships at all levels and works with suppliers to facilitate demand creation activities. Key Accountabilities Achieve sales, design -in and profitability goals for assigned area / customers Meet with customer to identify its product, applications, end markets and service needs and match it with our offerings Provide best individual service to customers as well as information on our products and services Develop and maintain customer business plan for each assigned account and ensure alignment between customer requirements and company goals Identify new sales opportunities at prospective customers. Work closely with technical experts (Product manager, BDM's, suppliers, etc) to identify project opportunities and to generate into design wins in cooperation with suppliers Maximize sales opportunities and profitability for respective Speedboat for the assigned customers to achieve budgeted goals Cultivate and grow relationships at all levels of the account Negotiate new contracts with customers in cooperation with Sales Management and legal department Investigate and resolve customers problems Provide local market input to Purchasing/Procurement to influence pricing, product availability and strategies Negotiate terms and conditions of sales according to the policies (i.e. payment terms, delivery, freight, packaging, special handling, handling charges, etc) Maintain track and update respective Company opportunity management systems / databases if available Advise local management of market conditions and competitive activities that might affect sales or offer sales opportunities Attend Company and Supplier sponsored meetings and trainings to obtain updates on product information, customer opportunities, policy and procedure updates and technological trends. Prepare customer budgets / forecasts for upcoming fiscal year in cooperation with RSM / Country Director Support promotional sales activities Closely cooperate with internal sales and internal support functions

Wat vragen wij

Job requirements Experience in sales of technical products required, preferably within the electronics and component industry Knowledge of selling, ideally at all levels of seniority from day to day contacts to senior level decision makers Ability to present and communicate in a very professional manner Very good negotiating and influencing skills Basis product knowledge Ability to work in a team environment Fluent English (verbally and writing) MS office skills
